According to support documentation Google has released for enterprise and education customers, ChromeOS will continue to receive updates and security patches until mid-2034. Existing management features and upgrade services for Chromebooks currently deployed in schools and businesses will continue to operate during that period.

Google says existing Chrome Education Upgrade and ChromeOS Enterprise Upgrade licenses will not carry over directly to Googlebook products. Schools and businesses will need to use a new licensing system, whether they migrate existing Chromebooks or purchase new Googlebook devices.
