A legendary RPG is allegedly getting a massive revival, as reports indicate Wizards of the Coast is developing an official remake of BioWare’s iconic Baldur’s Gate 2. With Baldur’s Gate 3 setting astronomical expectations and Larian Studios moving on from the D&D universe, WotC is reportedly bringing in former BG2 co-lead designer Kevin Martens to helm the project, which might ultimately launch alongside a remake of the first game.
